The station stayed open the whole time. We worked around a full, working gas station without disrupting it, with cones and signs marking off the area below and guard rails around the canopy edge.
We took the edge metal off, removed the old tar and gravel and cleaned the deck, then fastened a new IKO base sheet and torched the cap sheet down over it. A new copper drain went in, the edge metal went back on, and the granules were colour-matched where needed.
