The gravel came down through a covered chute, with scaffolding to keep people below safe. Once the roof was bare, we checked the insulation underneath before anything new went down. The trim around the base of the metal roof came off, was set aside and went back on at the end; the metal roofs themselves were left alone.
Then the new roof: a fastened IKO base sheet, a fire-protective barrier along the edges, and the cap sheet torched down over the top. We added four new drains and replaced the four old ones, so water has more ways off the roof, and finished the edges with new pre-finished metal.
