The tile came up by the pallet on a heavy-duty telescopic forklift, and the crew spread it by hand in piles across the roof, ready to lay.
We battened the roof and lined every valley with pre-finished metal. Walls and chimneys were flashed with a flexible flashing made for tile, every eave tile was clipped down, and matching tiles finish the hips, ridges and gable ends.
When we were done, we cleaned the gutters and left a few spare tiles with the owner for future repairs.
