The whole deck was covered in a high-temperature, self-adhered underlayment made for metal roofs. Then came the metal, with the panels and flashings custom-bent for this roof: ProLok snap-lock panels, drip edge at the eaves, valley metal, flashings at the walls and chimney, and matching metal on the hips, ridges and gable ends, with screened ridge venting.
Two rows of snow stops along the eaves keep snow from sliding off all at once.
